While the largest of all the United States, and its name translated to mean, “great land,” Alaska’s beauty can also be attributed to the bodies of water featured around it. Waters that link from different sides with not just the Arctic Ocean, but the Pacific as well. The Gulf of Alaska rests above of the northern Pacific Ocean, which maybe why the state’s motto is: North to the Future.
