My spriritual name is Satya which means truth; my nickname is LadyJoy
I believe yoga is for everyone, but asanas should be individualized
for a particular person's needs and abilities. So ANY BODY is welcome
to practice with me: experienced and beginners, supple and rigid, Hatha
or Raja yoga practicioners.
I earned certification as Integral Hatha Yoga Teacher in 2004
Integral means whole, universal, complete.
Yoga means union. Ha means Sun; Tha means Moon
So Hatha Yoga means the union of opposites, balance.
Hatha refers to the physical branch of yoga or asanas (postures). There
are many styles of Hatha yoga, like Bikram, Swaroopa, Iyengar etc. But
they are created by a particular personality, a particular yoga teacher.
I believe that yoga is one, but expressed in as many ways as there are
yoga teachers on Earth.
Aim of Yoga is to have
easeful body, peaceful mind and useful life
