Salsa Mexicana
This classic salsa is often referred to as Pico de Gallo. Great with
tortilla chips or mixed with guacamole.
INGREDIENTS:
8 large tomatoes
1 large white onion
20 fresh cilantro stems with leaves
2 small limes
2 serrano chilies (jalapenos for spicier)
salt to taste
DIRECTIONS:
Dice the tomatoes and onions and chilies into very small cubes. Put
into a large bowl, add torn cilantro and stir. Add the juice of the
limes and salt to taste. Refrigarate for 30 minutes before serving.
