Guacamole
This simple recipe is rather delicate. Prepare just before serving and
don't forget to leave the avocado pit in the serving dish. This acts
as a preservative.
INGREDIENTS:
6 large avocados
2 medium tomatoes
1/2 white onion
1/4 cup shredded cilantro
2 small limes
salt to taste
DIRECTIONS:
Peel and crush the avocados in a glass or ceramic bowl. No metal. Finely
dice the tomatoes, onion and cilantro and mix with avocado. Add lime
and salt to taste. Toss one or more of the pits into the bowl and refrigerate
for 15 minutes, using a lettuce leaf instead on plastic wrap on top.
For added flair mix in some of you salsa just before serving.
